In the UK and Ireland, Tuesday is Pancake Day. This is a new one to me :)
And I love it
Associated with Lent, traditionally it was the last feast of eating ingredients such as sugar, fat, and eggs
Busy with work and school on Tuesday, pancakes often are eaten as dessert after dinner
Pancakes tend to be thinner than the American style
Top with a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkle of sugar if you want to do it like the Brits do
